At F.E.E.T. Fund, our primary goal is to fulfill equitable educational trips by providing funds for any socioeconomically disadvantaged student in any 3-6 grade level overnight field trip through a Lake Tahoe Unified School District school. We believe that overnight, standards based field trips are an essential aspect in a child's development and experience in becoming a well-rounded, contributing citizen.
F.E.E.T. FUND AT A GLANCE
Here at F.E.E.T. Fund, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making experiential learning available to every student. We are motivated to find funds for all LTUSD children who qualify for the federal free and reduced breakfast/lunch program whose teachers are working hard to provide alternative educational experiences by going past the classroom walls, on overnight, standards-based field trips. We want to support these teachers, who collaborate together so that all students in their particular grade can attend, can work on educating our students (rather than endlessly fundraising for them).
If this is happening at your school (in LTUSD), or you want it to, read on...if your school follows a few simple guidelines, we have $75 for every eligible child! We are also providing a small stipend ($100 per night) for these hard working teachers!
